It's the 4th of July!
Wanta BBQ plate for only $5 and Free Bluegrass?

The Fourth of July Parade and Corn/Boil / BBQ are happening this Sat. Come on down and watch the parade and celebrate with the Gilmer Democrats and ride in our truck and throw candy to the throngs. If you haven't done it, it is a wonderful time. Besides NOW it time to come out and show Gilmer County that you are a proud Democrat.

MMMMMMMMMMMMM! If you can't make the parade then come an eat some boiled corn and lip smacking BBQ,is$5 for an adult plate adult and $3 for kids. Max of $20 for a whole family. While listening to some Great Free Bluegrass Music.

Want to Parade Proudly?

Last year we only had a few folks ride with us in the truck. Now is the time to show Gilmer how proud we are. To entice you we are offering this handy dandy Obama or Hillary Fan you can use on the float/truck. to cool yourself....available only with the Gilmer Democrats......any Democrat from any county can come a march with us.

  

To get one you have to let me know in advance if you want an Obama or Hillary (must be requested in advance-call Ken Ragan at 706 636 4709) and I will have one for you...or just show your beautiful face. Come on folks, lets show some clout. Come to Sailors Dr. near the old depot at 9 am (and help me decorate the truck) or join in when it starts at 10. And please bring some candy. The Kids go wild.

Come on and walk or ride with us. Its a great experience.
