The Committee is the elected governing body of the local affiliate of the Democratic Party of Georgia and the Democratic National Committee.

Committee members and other volunteers use contributions and their time for

• voter education / registration
• candidate recruitment
• grassroots organizing
• Get-Out-The-Vote, with
• door-to-door canvassing
• phone banks
• mailings
• rides to the polls
• public outreach (at festivals, other events).

The Committee meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, at the Sharptop Arts Center, 68 D.B. Carrol Street, Jasper. See the "Meetings and Events" calendar on the home page for any temporary change to the date or place.
